If you have ever worked around the food services industry, you know that it is inevitable: drain lines are going to get clogged. Fats, oils, and greases (F.O.Gs), are regularly entering the drains. Pipe openings become smaller and smaller as oils and greases adhere to the pipe walls and solidfy.
Chick-fil-A noticed this problem as their drains were constantly overflowing. They could not even drain their sinks without an overflow onto the floor. Instead of paying thousands to steam jet their drain lines, they chose our Trap Tender system. This automated drain treatement applies a layer of foam into their lines every night. The foam is filled with naturally-occuring microorganisms that target F.O.G’s. Within a short time, the drains were cleaner, they stopped overflowing, and the grease trap odor disappeared. The customer was thrilled with their savings and glad to be able to use their sink without flooding the kitchen.
