There has been an increasing mandate from governmental environmental agencies for the installation and use of oil-water separators and interceptors in industry. These new regulations have placed a heavy burden, both financial and operational, on all phases of commercial and industrial business. OWS-200™ can and will help to overcome many of these expenses. This product has the ability to significantly reduce hydrocarbon contamination in these separators, thereby reducing the high cost of disposal and transportation. The added cleaning & degreasing biosurface agent will help to keep your facility clean & safe for all personnel. OWS-200™ is a blend of naturally occurring micro-organisms chosen for their ability to metabolize hydrocarbons in oil-water separators. When used in a routine maintenance program, OWS-200™ will eliminate the hydrocarbon build-up that leads to “production interrupting” back-ups. If you are operating a facility with an oil-water separator or interceptor, you need OWS-200.
OWS-200 ™ is an active mixture of hydrocarbon-oxidizing, naturally occurring, single-celled micro-organisms with a “bio-surface cleaning agent” and water. It is specially formulated to be safe, environmentally enhancing and effective.
OWS-200™ is specifically formulated for oil-water separators & interceptors. The following general instructions presume a separator-interceptor size of approximately 2000 gallons. It is helpful to “pump” the separator prior to using OWS-200™.
1. Add 5 gallons of OWS-200™to the “oil holding area” of your equipment. This “jumpstarts” the remedial process.
2. If possible, add approximately 32 oz. of OWS-200™ each day either manually or with a metered chemical pump.
3. For best results, the product should be added at the time of day when the slowest flow rate takes place.
